Care Instruments offer Potts-Smith Dressing Forceps featuring an overall length of 16 cm – 6 1/4″, 18 cm – 7″, 21 cm – 8 1/4″, 23 cm – 9″, 25 cm – 9 3/4″ and 30 cm – 11 3/4″ with Serrated working ends used for debridement, dressing, and closure of wounds. It is primarily used to hold and manipulate sutures, ensuring proper placement during medical procedure.
They are also used to remove foreign objects from wounds, grasp and remove small pieces of tissue, and grasp vessels for homeostasis. The instrument features straight, tapering tips that easily pass into narrow cavities. The Tungsten Carbide inserts for excellent grasps.
