Care Instruments offer Pierse-Colibri Corneal Forceps featuring an overall length of 7.5 cm – 3 1/4″ having Very Dedicate 1 x 1 Teeth Textured Jaws with Curved working ends. It is primarily used in eye surgeries to grasp and manipulate the iris, particularly during procedures such as cataract surgery or intraocular lens implantation.
They are also used in other surgical procedures that require precise manipulation and suturing of delicate tissues, such as in plastic surgery or microsurgery.
The instrument features a pair of very fine, curved jaws that conform to the anatomy of the eyeball. In addition, the jaws have tying platforms for facilitating stitching. Also, the 1 x 1 concave tooth design permits to hold and mobilize the scleral edge with ease.
