Care Instruments offer Tennant Suture Tying Forceps featuring an overall length of 10.5cm – 4″ having Plain tips with tying platform. It is primarily used in surgical procedures where sutures are required to close wounds and hold tissues together. They are particularly useful in procedures where precise knot tying is required, such as in plastic surgery or ophthalmic surgery.
They are also used in veterinary surgery and in dental procedures where sutures are required.
The instrument features a pair of very fine jaws with an ideal design to traverse minute structures. In addition, the curved and straight patterns of the jaws permit it to reach different areas of the eye. Also, the 6.0mm tying platform helps to manipulate prolene and monofilament sutures with precision.
