Description
Bengolea Artery Forceps is an instrument featuring overall length of 21 cm – 8 1/4″, 21.5 cm – 8 1/2″, 25.5 cm – 10″ and 26 cm – 10 1/4″ used to hold and compress blood vessels during hemostasis. It is primarily used to control and close bleeding vessels during surgery.
They are specialized haemostat forceps used to hold tissue in place during the cutting process, to prevent excessive bleeding. The jaws feature a pair of straight and curved profile with a tapered design to easily traverse narrow passages. The 1 x 2 toothed optional patterns allow enhanced clamping.
