Bonn Corneal Forceps
Care Instruments offer Bonn Corneal Forceps featuring an overall length of 8.5 cm – 3 1/4″, 10cm – 4″ having Very Delicate 1 x 2 Teeth, Very Delicate 1 x 2 Teeth and Tying Platform. It is primarily used in ophthalmic surgeries to hold and manipulate the cornea, for procedures such as corneal transplantations, cataract surgery, and other anterior segment surgeries.
They can also be used for removing foreign bodies from the cornea, manipulating intraocular lenses, and other delicate procedures in the anterior segment of the eye.
The instrument features a pair of very fine, straight jaws that are ideal to manipulate the cornea or guide the suture thread. In addition, the tips of the jaws have 1 x 2 teeth for enhanced tissue holding.
