Care Instruments offer Carrel haemostatic forceps featuring overall length of 8.5 cm – 3 1/4″ with serrated working ends. It is used in surgical procedures to control bleeding from injuries or other sources. They are specialized haemostatic clamps to grasp and hold tissue or other structures during surgery.
It is also use in conjunction with other haemostatic agents, such as suture materials or chemical agents, to help stop bleeding and promote clotting during surgical procedure.
The instrument features small jaws with horizontal serrations that protect the endothelium from clamping trauma.
