Clayman Lens Holding Forceps
Care Instruments offer Clayman Lens Holding Forceps featuring an overall length of 12.5 cm – 5″ having dedicated jaws with gently curved working ends. It is primarily used in ophthalmic surgery to securely grasp and manipulate intraocular lenses during the implantation process, allowing for precise placement and positioning within the eye.
They can also be used for removing or repositioning intraocular lenses, as well as for holding and manipulating other delicate structures in the eye during ophthalmic surgical procedures.
The instrument features a pair of curved jaws supplied with a 70° angle at the tips. Moreover, surgeons use the jaws to carefully pull out the IOL from the lens case.
