Care Instruments offer Colibri Corneal Forceps With Tying Platform featuring an overall length of 7.5 cm – 3 1/4″ having 1 x 2 Teeth and trying platform with curved working ends. It is primarily used in ophthalmic surgery to hold and manipulate delicate corneal tissue during procedures such as corneal transplants, cataract surgery, and other anterior segment surgeries.
They can also be used in other microsurgical procedures where delicate tissue manipulation is required, such as in plastic surgery or neurosurgery.
The instrument features a pair of curved jaws that follow the contour of the cornea. In addition, the 0.4mm tips include tying platforms that help to suture the incision with superior precision.
