Description

Kelman-McPherson Tissue Forceps

Care Instruments offer Kelman-McPherson Tissue Forceps featuring an overall length of 10 cm – 4″ having Dedicate 1x 2 Teeth with Tying platform with angled working ends. It is primarily used in ophthalmic surgery to manipulate delicate eye tissues such as the iris, lens, and cornea. They are particularly useful in procedures where a secure grip on the tissue is required, such as during cataract surgery.

They can also be used in other surgical procedures where delicate tissues need to be grasped and manipulated, such as in plastic surgery or microsurgery. They are also sometimes used in dental procedures to handle soft tissues in the mouth.

The instrument features a pair of 0.3mm very fine, curved jaws that easily follow the corneal contour. In addition, the device includes tying platforms for grasping sutures and tie knots with exceptional precision. Also, the toothed profile is ideal to grasp the cornea and other fragile tissues with safety.
