Care Instruments offer Kroenlein Haemostatic Forceps featuring overall length of 13 cm – 5″ with Serrated Jaws With Grooves working ends used for clamping arteries and veins, or for grasping and holding tissue structures such as heart valves, or other organs. It is primarily used in vascular, cardiac, thoracic and urological surgery in order to control bleeding from organs.
They are also used to grab and hold tissue, allowing the surgeon to precisely control the amount of pressure applied. The instrument features fenestrated jaws with inner serrations that exert minimal clamping trauma. The ratchet system promotes self-retaining clamping.
